everything YOU NEED
- 1/4 cup Sain Almond Milk - the Cacao Story
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 tsps bittersweet chocolate, chopped
Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat an 8" x 8" pan with cooking spray.
Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Stir in almond milk, oil, applesauce and vanilla. Mix in chopped chocolate and spread in prepared pan.
Bake for 40 minutes. Cool completely and refrigerate. To serve, cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
